JY002 is the second yeast in our yeast collection. The strain originates from Düsseldorf in North Rhine Westphalia, Germany. This region is famous for its Altbier, together with Kölsch the most famous of German Ale varieties. This yeast works perfect for these beer styles, but it also performs great in other ales. It underlines the maltiness of your beer, and ferments clean.
