JY028 is a wonderful English ale yeast that works great for English and American ales. Originating from the English Midlands, this strain works great for beers that are hoppy. The yeast is slightly fruity, and pushes the minerally/sulfate character of IPAs. It can ferment cooler and is good for higher ABV beers.
