Jasperyeast was formed in early 2014 by Jasper Akerboom and Travis Tedrow. We wanted to bring high-quality yeasts pitches to homebrewers and craftbrewers in greater Washington DC area. Together, Jasper and Travis combine over 35 years of brewing, microbiology, quality control and food science experience. Currently jasperyeast is located right next to Dulles Airport, and we ship all over the USA. We have a large yeast collection with strains that we grow to order from 1bbl to 100bbl pitchable quantity. We also offer consulting services when it comes to yeast isolations and quality control/assurance work from the smallest nano to the largest macro brewery.
